Online book of condolences

I first met David when he was the parliamentary candidate for Basildon back in the early 1980s. He was an outstanding Member of Parliament first in Basildon and then in Southend West when his concern for his constituents shone through in everything he did. It saddens me deeply that his accessibility to current and prospective constituents left him so vulnerable to attach by a murderous terrorist. My heart-felt condolences to his wife and his family for their loss.
