Such a shame to live in an age where people can get ruthlessly taken while simply doing their job.
My thoughts and best wishes go out to the entire community of David’s constituency, his family, friends and colleagues.
I didn’t know Sir David Amess but it is clear from the coverage that he was loved by many and touched the lives of everyone who he came into contact with.
As part of Sir David’s legacy, let’s all be kinder, more decent to one another.
RIP Sir David Amess, thank you for your life of service to the people of Essex and beyond.
