It is clear to see what a passionate, caring and hard-working gentleman you were David. As a fellow public servant and West Ham fan, I send my deepest condolences to your family and to anyone else who is grieving your loss. I too felt sadness when I heard what you had to endure in the final moments of your life. It gives me hope to have my faith in these troubling times and to also be sure that you are finally safe in God's hands.
