I never knew you personally but I have heard so much about you in the last week that I feel I know the man that you were and will always be to those that know you personally and those that are just beginning to know you.
Rest in Peace my brother and my former MP. You were a gift to the people of Basildon and latterly Southend. But more importantly you were a gift to the nation and we are sorely missing you. Missing the heart of love and integrity in the House full of career polititian. You were a rare gem to your friends and foes alike and to the nation. I know that you are my brorher because you demonstrated the love of Christ to humanity. Your heart for projects that no doubt touched the heart of God was unprecedented. You were known to following things through to completion once you take it on board. You are loved and respected by all with your love and candidness. I know i have lost a brother and i pray that i will see you again at the appointed time. So i do not say good bye.
May the God of all comfort, comfort your family and loved ones at this difficult time. May He envelop them in His warm embrace and show them you are ok in His presence. May the Lord comfort your constituents and the whole nation and cause good to come out of this tragic incident. May the Lord teach and show us how to lead by the example and passion you desmonstrated for fellow human beings.
Love and miss you.
God rest your soul now until we meet again.
Every blessing.
