David you were so hard working and cared for your local area when you worked for Basildon Council. We delivered your leaflets and spoke to residents on their door steps in 1992 you really believed in what you were doing. You were elected as MP which was right and fitting as you believed in Basildon and in the people that lived there. Also having the same beliefs in the people of Southend.
